Quest for Glory

You are a graduate from the Famous Adventure's Correspondence College; you paid your fifty gold pieces, did the course work, passed the final exam (though almost didn't get the 1000 words required on the essay) and received your diploma. During your time at school, you had some pen pals in the program. You all decided to meet up in Willowsby and go adventuring.

When you got to Willowsby, you discovered that it must be the most boring place in the entire world. There hasn't been a monster attack, kidnapped noble or strange dungeon opening up in at least fifty years. The Adventure's Guild is even more depressing; in was just a bunch of old people talking about the good old days while complaining about the new generation and a bunch of young people playing a game call Computers and Corporations (which seems to involve little pieces, funny sided dice, lot of books and arguments about if their "character" could do something). The only thing interesting was a small note on the job board burried under notes for roommates, swords for sale and other boring things. The note read:

WANTED HEROES: No experience necessary. Visit beautiful Spielburg, fight monsters, defeat brigands. Reward and title "Heroes of Spielburg" to successful applicant.

Your heroes. You have no experience. This looks like the perfect job. You polish off your resume, gather your adventuring buddies and head out to Spielburg and glory.

Part I - So You Want To Be A Hero?

Well it's time to go save the picturesque valley of Spielburg which has fallen on hard times (being cursed and over run by brigands will do that to a place)

  • NPCs from Part 1 - We'll you meet a lot of people in your travels.
  • Quest Log - There seems to be an awful lot to do around here... better write it down.
  • Scenic Spielburg - Some days you need a tour guide to show you where you are and the good points about them.
  • Veronica's Diary - Our heroes are being watched and their deeds are being recorded for prosperity (or at least for people who go through the old lady's stuff).
