A reply to your note on Kovar's age: 1st, your note: Just some notes similar to those on Greshona: a giant's lifespan is considerably longer than a human's, with middle age at 125 yrs rather than 35. Kovar's wunderkind history is pretty amazing with 15 years being roughly analogous to 2.4 for a giant. And 42 is somewhere around 12.

It is possible that giants and faen assume maturity just as fast as humans, merely with a much longer youthful adulthood... But with the 180-day year, I kinda like the relative normalization that the longer lives of the giants and faen create. Thoughts to process...

My reply: As a 40 year old elf does not wear a diaper I imagined that Giants age at approximately the same rate as humans, they just continue growing for a long period of time and, especially considering their reformed warlike history, have a long and brutal adolescent period. I don't know about you but I certainly wouldn't want to spend two decades with a 6'8" tall 20 Str giant with rampaging hormones and unchecked access to alcohol! I'd like to make Kovar's age 94, which makes mim a tad younger than I had been thinking but may play into his character a bit better.

I also believe that Kovar's wunderkind history fits in to this model as well. I know kids from my childhood that were excellent carpenters in elementary school because they had grown up "helping" in the family furniture shop. Some of it is taught and some is just a genetic propensity for the feel of a craft. Admittedly, they weren't using a bandsaw at the age of 2.4 but they were craftsmen by the age of 15.
