Storyline

Sammy, acting surprized

Sammy's had a long history of bad jobs. About seven years ago, he found that he could actually keep a job driving a truck for warehouses. Through no fault of his own, a little over a year ago Sammy lost his job at Barnes & Noble. He spent three months scraping at his savings until he signed on with a pharmaceutical company for testing a new diet pill. The idea is that a quantum state in the diet pill causes calories to exist when needed, and not exist when they would result in fat.

The pill... didn't work as advertised. Sammy was one of the few who survived the live tests. To be fair, he lost thirty pounds in two months. On average. He could weigh himself anywhere between five pounds and a thousand. After the end of the tests, the pharmaceutical company gave each of the testers or their families a settlement, which lasted only another three months for Sammy. After losing contact with the company, Sammy realized he could actually control the weight fluctuations with a little concentration. More practice during his unemployment gave Sammy the ability to become completely incorporeal on one end, and heavier than lead on the other.

Only four months into his new job with a printing and binding firm, Sammy delivered his last delivery. Who knows where he is now...
