In the summer of C:6:1:8, Leif heeded a call by King Oren to help save the city from Imps.
After being turned into a wight in Melmond, he was ended by Gemma's sword. He is now a Leif on the wind. Soaring. And whatnot. His most favorite possession, an endless wineskin, went to Vadin, who now uses it to butter up diplomatic personages.
A trick of Strife and Bladisch brought his dismembered corpse back to the party deep within Terra Cavern. His tortured soul was brought into the Elemental Plane of Earth by Bladisch's darkest magic of undeath, only to be finally laid to rest by a ceremony held by the party. Upon his receipt of the property, Gemma planted a tree on the grounds of the Duchy of Jaltun, dedicating it to the memory of Leif.
