Kovar

| Humanocentric |

| Kovar was a Human Hephaestine Cleric, and absurdly tall for a human. Assumably, his height as a giant wasn't changed for the humanocentric version. Any mention of stonekin faen were replaced by dwarves, a much stockier and more aggressive version of stonekin. |

Party beat-stick, Kovar |
Kovar Stark was born to Darmok & Zhelad Stark during a time of woe and mistrust in Coneria.
Kovar was raised in a home of love, hard work, and high morals. He understood from an early age that doing good things with one’s life was the greatest thing that any being could do. As an infant Kovar was startling. His strength was alarming even to his giant parents and he was able to lift his father’s forge hammer at the age of 16 months. At the age of 28 months he was found playing in the molten spillage from his father’s iron casings, miraculously unharmed. His father took this as a sign that Kovar was specially blessed by the gods and began his training in the study of the gods, the planes of reality, and the crafting of metals. Kovar was able to craft simple metal items at the same time his peers were able to decipher text from books.
Kovar’s parents taught him ethics and literacy at the pace of their child and were never ahead of his learning curve. Kovar was an outstanding child, student, and moral ethicist. He did not play in the other competitive games of his peer group because he knew that his strength and cunning was far beyond theirs and he did not feel that it would be "right" to compete with them. He played many games with older children and they became his peers, which was not unusual due to his incredible stature for his age. He continued to grow at a phenomenal rate and was six feet tall by his fourteenth birthday, tall even for a giant at that age.
Kovar became well known by many members of the community due to his strength of character and skill at the forge. He was as he was raised to be, ethical, skilled, kind, and dutiful. When he was fourteen he begged his father to be trained in the Hephaestine Order, a point of honor and celebration in his family. On Kovar’s fifteenth birthday he was initiated into the honorable class of Acolyte of Hephaestus and produced his own Kovar's Hammer with a skill never before seen by an acolyte so young. The hammer is inlaid with the story of how Hephaestus learned to craft the thunderbolts of Zeus and how he taught the Cyclops to continue to craft them. He keeps this hammer at his side at all times and it is his most prized possession. All of the items Kovar has and will ever forge will be with the aid of this hammer.
When Kovar was fifteen years of age he accompanied his father to the stonekin faen mines on a mission of diplomacy and trade. He was astounded by the stonekin community and their reverence to the forges and mines. He studied the faen language and began to build friendships in the stonekin community.
Kovar strives to discover the good in all humanoids and to teach them to hold ethics high above law. His code of honor includes guiding others to be honorable no matter what the laws of the community are. He has read the stories of the god-born before him; the stories of Heracles have taught him that arrogance breeds cruelty and overconfidence. His heroic role model is Perseus, and his mother could not be more proud of that. He hopes to be written of in stories and sung of in songs so that his life can teach generations to follow. He has no desire of fame, he merely wishes to be a good man, worshipper, and teacher.
In the summer of C:6:1:8, Kovar heeded a call by King Oren to help save the city from Imps. Kovar wears one of The Pendants, the Pendant of Steel.
