Alabast

For the most part, see p191 of Arcana Evolved to learn about the Alabast. Their original city in this world was Sumvannon, but it has been abandoned for nearly a thousand years, since it was overtaken by swampland. After arriving (they don't talk about their origins much) in the area of the southern continent now known as Alabass, the Alabast spread across the forests of the south, pushing the sibeccai north and east.

Currently, there is a conflict brewing in Alabass, since there are two royal families who have equal claims to the throne. Prince Lucien of Pelador is at the head of one of them (while his father is ill), and Erecien of Quenalon is at the head of the other. Lucien has enlisted the aid of a group of adventurers (borrowed from King Oren of Coneria) to ascertain who is the rightful ruler of Alabass.
