Races of the North
- Giants - large and in charge, the giants kicked the dragons off the northern mainlands eons ago
- Dragons - relatively mysterious at this point, most contact is through death in the Norul Ocean
- Litorians - spiritual cat-people who sailed south with the giants

Races of the South
- Humans - central to Coneria and Pravoka, they can thrive anywhere
- Alabast - supposedly from the third Quickstar, these mysterious people took over the sibeccai lands long ago
- Drow - a spider-like offshoot of the Alabast, they are only known to be found underneath Sumvannon
- Sibeccai - originally from the very southern tip of Aerethon, they've been pushed out to the desert and the swamp
- Verrik - ritual and mysticism rule these red-skinned people from the east
- Faen - the tiny magical faen hail from the subcontintent of Melma, to the west
